The Union of the post-Soviet Left (PSL) is an organization of emigrants from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus and other post-Soviet countries. We unite those who seek fundamental socialist change in the post-Soviet space and participate in the struggle for social justice in their countries of residence.
Our values are uncompromising struggle against war, exploitation of man by man and all forms of discrimination, solidarity with leftist movements around the world and uniting around a political program rather than narrow leftist identities. We are open to all who share our goals and are ready for collective struggle.
Our priority is to build a strong branched organization in exile that:
- conducts long-term work;
- combines political education and practice;
- seeks an active role in the political struggle with allies;
- is built on democratic principles;
- respects diversity of opinion within the framework of programmatic objectives;
- develops collectives and cells across the expatriate space.
In addition, we work in the following areas:
- migrant labor and trade union struggles;
- assistance and support for political prisoners, refugees and migrants from the post-Soviet space;
- coordinating efforts towards a democratic peace in the interests of the peoples, not the ruling classes;
- organizing political and solidarity campaigns.
